PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Will Hit Steam Early Access March 23

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is officially hitting Steam early access on March 23rd. This is great news for fans of the battle royale genre. Battlegrounds has been in closed beta since February 24 and only playable on the weekends as tweaks are made during the week.

For those who are unaware. Battlegrounds is a battle royale game which pits player vs player (150 of them) in a town or area and has them battle it out for weapons, armor and vehicles as they fight to be the last man standing. Battlegrounds is made by the creator of the popular battle royale mod in Arma 2, Arma 3 and H1Z1, which eventually spawned into H1Z1: King of the Kill.

As of now you can pre-order Battlegrounds on its website for $30.00 and you will receive a beta key to take advantage of the last 2 weekends of the closed beta. On the other hand, for $40 you can get the ‘deluxe’ edition that comes with some skins and TWO beta keys, that way you can have some fun with a friend.

Will you be playing Battlegrounds once it hits early access?
